      ANTI--WRINKLE EFFECT

      To evaluate the anti -wrinkle effect of a cosmetic investigational product and to assess its cutaneous acceptability, under Dermatological control, after repeated applications for a period under the normal conditions of use

      · Method : video imagery of silicone skin replicas, Clinical evaluation (clinical scoring system), Global appraisal of the efficacy by subject
      · Test Period : 8 weeks or 12 weeks

      WHITENING EFFECT ON U.V. INDUCED PIGMENTATION

      Evaluation of the whitening effect of cosmetic investigational products on U.V induced pigmentation, after repeated cutaneous applications, under Dermatological control

      · Method : Colorimetric measurements, Clinical evaluation, Global appraisal of the efficacy by subject
      · Test Period : 8 weeks or 12 weeks

      SPF TEST

      Sun Protection Factor value for a sunscreen is defined as the ratio of the Minimal Erythemal Dose (MED) on protected skin (MEDp) by product to the Minimal Erythemal Dose on unprotected skin (MEDu) of the same subject in field of UVB (290nm to 320nm).

      WATER RESISTANCE SPF TEST

      This study defines the efficacy and its persistency of water resistance of sunscreen with artificial condition such as on the beach or outdoor swimming pools.

      · Method : MED assessment between Sunscreen-treated and Non-treated Determination of SPF on the Wet skin compared with Dry skin

      UVA TEST

      The Sun Protection Factor of UVA for a sunscreen is defined as the ratio of the Minimal Persistent Pigment Darkening Dose (MPPDD) on protected skin (MPPDDp) by product to the Minimal Persistent Pigment Darkening Dose on unprotected skin (MPPDDu) of the same subject in field of UVA (320nm to 400nm)
